The Taylor Tylkowski Memorial Culinary Scholarship was established by a group of friends in the Omaha community inspired by Taylor Tylkowski, who was a student in the culinary program at Metropolitan Community College. The scholarship is awarded to the first place finisher in the Student Chef Challenge event, hosted annually in spring. The competition is for high school students pursuing a culinary degree.
Scholarship Criteria:
- Financial need not required, but may be considered
- Must be majoring in Culinary
- Scholarship is to be used for tuition and fees, books, uniforms, and required tools
Scholarships are usually offered during the spring and fall quarters. Scholarship availability varies depending on donor giving.
