The Tim Charlton Industrial Maintenance Technology Annual Scholarship was established in 2022 by Carey Charlton, in memory of Tim. Tim was a modest, but dedicated and gifted individual in the Industrial Maintenance industry. While Tim never considered himself a teacher, he took great pride in coaching his coworkers and crew members on the ins and outs of how their equipment functioned. Tim was also determined to learn from his mistakes and what he didn't know. He would reach out to colleagues, take a class, contact equipment representatives, or do internet searches to find the answers needed.
Tim’s wife wanted to memorialize Tim with a scholarship dedicated to the work he did well and enjoyed. The scholarship’s purpose is to help more individuals get into and learn more about this field, to help ensure a better future for themselves and for the industry.
