Media Alert: Signing Day returns to MCC
 
What:      Metropolitan Community College will host Signing Day, a celebration for the sponsorship of skilled and technical trades. High school students and industry employees will be signing letters of intent with local industry partners to pursue an education in high demand career fields. The Signing Day event celebrates these trade related students that are beginning a path to a great career. 

When:     Wednesday, April 26, 4:30-6 p.m.

Background:     Sponsorships are innovative training programs that provide students with paid employment opportunities with local industry partners that also pay for students’ training, tools and tuition while they work complete their course work in tandem at MCC. These programs have seen substantial growth at MCC and continue to expand, providing a win-win-win for the respective students, industry and the community. Signing Day will feature MCC president Randy Schmailzl, industry partners participating in sponsorships and current sponsorship student Kristen Anderson.
