Possible career paths for graduates include database administrators, business intelligence
analysts, database developers and data analysts. These occupations are needed in
business and medical work environments, as wells as other organizations.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment forcomputer systems
analysts is projected to grow 7% from 2020 to 2030.

analysts, including data analysts, is projected to grow by 25% from 2020 to 2030
(much faster than the average for all occupations). Possible jobs for graduates
include data analyst, business intelligence analyst, data consultant and junior
data scientist. Employers in the Midwest and throughout the country are
actively seeking candidates with these skills.

are projected to grow 22% from 2020 to 2030, much faster than the average for all
applications. About 189,200 openings for software developers, quality assurance
analysts and testers are projected each year through 2030.
