Reverse Transfer is a process where credits for course work completed at a four-year, regionally accredited, college or university are transferred back to MCC to satisfy liberal arts transfer or general studies associate degree requirements. Some students transfer into 4-year universities before completing an associate degree at MCC. Through Reverse Transfer, a student’s achievements are recognized with an associate degree after they have transferred to a 4-year school and have accumulated the credits needed to fulfill the 2-year degree program requirements.
The Reverse Transfer program is available to students who have transferred 24 or more quarter credit hours from MCC to a four-year, regionally accredited institution and have subsequently completed associate degree requirements with a GPA of 2.0 of higher.
