Need to review for the math placement test?
-
Need to improve your math placement score?
-
Need to review a math course prerequisite?
Save time and money
MCC has developed a set of MyMathTest programs for placement test and course review available to prospective and current students at no cost. You can evaluate your current skill level according to class or placement test section and then work additional practice problems based on missed/blank questions to improve any weak areas.
Click the "Student" option under Register Now and follow the additional instructions. You will need to create a new account separate from any that you may have from class.
After registering, sign in to MyMathTest with your username and password. To enroll in one of the available programs, click "Enroll in a Course" in the menu under your name and use one of the following program IDs:
-
If you were given a program ID to sign up for a specific program use that ID.
-
The program ID for Developmental Mathematics - Trigonometry is: XL4C-P192-501Y-7EV2
This program covers material from basic computational skills up through trigonometry, as well as additional material to review for math placement tests.
-
The program ID for Pre-Calculus Algebra & Calculus I is: XL4C-P1A2-801Z-60W2
This program covers material and topics from MCC's Pre-Calculus Algebra and Calculus I courses, as well as additional material to review for math placement tests.
If you want to work on different programs at the same time, you will need to create a separate MyMathTest account for each program.
Pearson's Student Support has additional help with registering and enrolling including help with setting up your computer, signing in to your program, frequently asked questions, or contacting technical support directly.
Using the Review
-
After signing in, click "Take a Test" in the left navigation menu.
-
Select a review test and click "Start Test" on the next page.
-
During the test, if you are unsure how to approach a question leave it blank and skip it; additional review problems are based on incorrect or blank answers.
-
After submitting the test, review the results then click "Study Plan" in the left navigation menu and click "All Chapters". An updated set of review problems will be listed based on your results.
