Digital Slates/Digital Ink
Notebook 10 software “converts” a tablet PC or digital slate to an electronic notebook that can be used to edit, save and distribute information. Annotate and draw over PDF documents, Word documents and PowerPoint’s. Save original “digital ink” drawings or handwritten explanations. Record a digital ink presentation as a digital video. The digital videos are saved, uploaded to the media server, converted to flash video and linked to either a faculty web site or an ANGEL online class for student use.
Mike Flesch uses the Notebook software and a microphone to annotate and explain a math concept.
Rich Newcomer in the Utility Line program uses Digital Ink to explain terminology and formulas, and highlight and demonstrate current flow.
