The Keith Potts Fund was established in 2023 by AMPP, Omaha chapter, formerly National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE). Keith Potts was the advocate within the NACE Section to create a scholarship fund for those taking an education path different than a traditional 4-year college. Keith worked for HDR while working on his masters from the University of Nebraska. Keith continued working in the engineering field until 2004. In 2004, he started his own company. He began his association with NACE in 2004 and continues to give presentations on environmental and cathodic protection.
Student must be enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering-related programs, or Advanced Manufacturing related programs.
This scholarship provides funding for tuition, fees, books and other student needs such as tools, transportation, rent, and other basic needs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Full- or part-time students
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Scholarships are usually offered during the spring and fall quarters. Scholarship availability varies depending on donor giving.
