MCC names new community and government relations director

OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College has named Patrick Boyle the new community and government relations director under the College’s Strategic Initiatives department. In his new role, Boyle will be in a key leadership position responsible for developing and building relationships with community, state and local government officials, legislative leaders and legislative staff.

“In my new position, I will be able to continue building upon the tremendous successes we have had with the community while supporting MCC’s efforts legislatively,” said Boyle. “I look forward to building new relationships that will benefit MCC students and the Omaha area.”

Boyle has been with MCC since 2011, and has most recently held the position of sponsorship and community relations director. In addition to continuing his role of community outreach through chambers of commerce, economic development initiatives and other organizations, Boyle will now provide unicameral and government relations support through coordination of testimony, research and monitoring of important issues and more.
